We are seeking Top Full-Stack & ML Systems Engineer. If you are a humble learner, not afraid of the unknown, we encourage you to apply. As a Senior / Principal Full-Stack & ML Systems Engineer, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge scientific research and production-grade enterprise software. This is not a role for notebook-bound practitioners. We are looking for a heavyweight engineer to architect, scale, and secure our full-stack ecosystems, building robust DevOps and MLOps pipelines from the ground up.

Our main office is located in Helsinki, with established teams currently operating in Germany and Sweden. For the right candidate, we are fully open to discussing other remote or hybrid locations across Europe.

Role Description

• Design and build highly scalable, distributed full-stack applications and backend architectures optimized for intensive AI, ML, and optimization workloads.

• Own the end-to-end MLOps strategy, building infrastructure for model training, deployment, orchestrating data pipelines, and real-time monitoring at enterprise scale.

• Set the benchmark for technical excellence. Champion modern software engineering best practices, including robust CI/CD, comprehensive testing frameworks, security, and clean code architecture.

• Act as a technical anchor for cross-functional teams, driving major architectural decisions and mentoring both engineers and advanced scientists in production software principles.

Qualifications

• 7+ Years of deep, hands-on experience designing, shipping, and maintaining production-grade software architectures, large-scale web applications, or high-performance ML systems.

• Proven ability to build end-to-end. You are equally masterful designing highly efficient APIs, modeling complex data schemas, and crafting seamless, intuitive user interfaces.

• Extensive practical experience deploying and scaling machine learning workloads in high-stakes production environments utilizing modern cloud infra and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).

• A proven ability to dissect ambiguous, mathematically complex problems and turn them into elegant, maintainable code.

• Ability to communicate complex technical architecture with absolute clarity to both deep-tech scientists and executive-level enterprise clients.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus but not a requirement:

• Hands-on experience with NLP/ CV / Multimodal / LLM architectures, including advanced model serving, custom fine-tuning, and vector database optimization.

• Background in developing mission-critical systems for the Financial Services or quantitative trading sectors.

• A conceptual understanding of, or an intense passion for, quantum computing and hybrid classical-quantum algorithms.
